Utah State Bar Selects Synchron
Innovative technology solution enables Bar Association to introduce secure
content distribution to its members
Scotts Valley, Calif. / Salt Lake City – The Utah State Bar and
Synchron Networks, a pioneer in the secure distribution of
business information, announced today a partnership to provide secure electronic content
distribution solutions to all Utah Bar members. Everserve™ secure distribution software
from Synchron provides lawyers and other professionals with guaranteed delivery of sensitive or
confidential documents with complete, end-to-end security using the public Internet.
Under the terms of the partnership, the Bar will work with Synchron to promote
the Everserve solution to Bar members throughout Utah. The Bar considers it a priority to introduce
its membership to appropriate new technology solutions that benefit the practice of law. A key benefit
of the Synchron solution is its value to the law firm in building and strengthening client relationships.
"Lawyers have an obligation to their clients to protect sensitive information and a legal responsibility
to comply with regulatory requirements for privacy," said John Baldwin, Executive Director, Utah State Bar.
"Due to the substantial cost savings, more and more client information is distributed over the Internet today.
The legal market needs the Everserve solution to protect valuable client information as it is sent over the Internet."
"We're very pleased to have gained the approval of the
Utah State Bar and to now be in partnership with them," said Carl Fravel,
Synchron Networks' Founder. "This partnership will
help establish our market with the many Utah law firms as well
as help us
build similar partnerships
with other state Bars across the country."
